Overview
Successful completion of this course will satisfy licensing training requirements for a combined security guard/crowd control licence.  The aim of the Certificate II course is to develop a student’s proficiency in providing operational security services including crowd control and security guarding duties. Key content of the program includes law relevant to the security industry, customer service, teamwork, communication skills, and managing intoxicated persons, reporting security incidents, occupational health and safety, giving evidence in court and emergency procedures.

Duration
This qualification is completed by attending full-time for 16 days at ASMG

Presenters
Course presenters are all recognised industry experts holding relevant experience and training qualifications. They include security industry specialists, former and currently serving police officers, lawyers, OH&S practitioners and organisational development consultants.

Prerequisites
Students must possess reasonable literacy and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English. The ASMG team provide support and direction for language and literacy to participants who require it.
